SOLUDO SIGNS LAW PROHIBITING SECRET CULTS IN ANAMBRA

The law prohibiting secret cult activities in Anambra State is designed to outlaw the formation, membership, and operation of clandestine cult groups that threaten public safety and social order. It seeks to prevent engagement in any activities or rituals associated with these groups, which are often linked to criminality and violence.

By clearly defining what constitutes secret cult activity and imposing strict penalties for violations, the law empowers law enforcement agencies to take decisive action against those involved. This legislative measure reflects the state’s commitment to upholding community safety, ensuring that all citizens can enjoy a secure and stable environment.

Governor Soludo has signed a law prohibiting Secret Cults in Anambra State. This measure seeks to ban the formation and operation of clandestine cult groups, impose stringent penalties on offenders, and reinforce the state’s efforts to maintain public order and security.
